Puppy Refuses To Leave Place Where His Owner Lost Her Life In A Tragic Bike Crash

Don’t you agree that the bond between owners and their pets is always wonderful to witness? Today, we bring to you a heartwarming yet heartbreaking story from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. It’s the story of a sweet rescued puppy named Boots, who tried his best to hold onto the memory of its owner in a very touching way.

Débora Abigail Véliz Reynosa is Boots’s owner, and she was only 17 years old when she passed away during a terrible car crash.

On that day, when Débora was on her way back home after buying some adorable clothes and accessories for her new four-legged friends, she unfortunately collided with a truck. Magic didn’t happen, and this young girl tragically lost her life during this accident. At that time, she was only a 17-year-old with a huge heart.

Along with Débora on the road was Boots, but he was lucky enough to survive. He was later found holding onto Débora’s lifeless body when the police arrived at the scene. The loyal little pup simply refused to leave her side.

What makes this story even more heartbreaking is that Débora had just adopted the puppy, lovingly named Boots, the day before the accident. Poor Boots had been through a difficult time with its previous owner, and Débora couldn’t stand to see it suffer, so she rescued the little pup, hoping to give it a better life.

She started helping stray dogs in her town at just 12 years old, using her earnings from selling empanadas. She was also working on her criminology studies at the Centre for Integrated Studies in Quetzaltenango before her life was tragically cut short.

Her untimely death hit her educational center hard, and they shared their condolences, keeping her in their thoughts and prayers. And just a few days ago, on September 21, Débora’s family and friends said their final goodbyes at her funeral.

He’s committed to giving the little pup all the love and care that Débora would’ve wanted for her furry friend.

While Débora may be gone, her memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. And for the little dog she took under her wing, Boots, there’s no doubt that he deserves all the love and care he can get. Now, it’s Débora’s boyfriend who will carry on the legacy of love and care for this loyal companion.
