After all the heartbreak, Jason Momoa found new love, and you’ll surely recognize her

Spotted engaging in some serious PDA on Tuesday, May 21, the couple had already set Instagram abuzz by going official two days earlier. Ah, young-ish love in the social media age!

The rumor mill started churning in early May when Momoa attended Basingstoke Comic Con in England. There, he revealed to his fans that he’s been off the market for quite some time. “I’m very much in a relationship,” he announced to the crowd. “I’ve been in a relationship for a while. I’m really enjoying [my] privacy ’cause back in the day nobody gave a fuck, and now everybody does.” Oh, the price of living in the public eye!

Recently, the Aquaman superstar flooded Instagram with several envy-inducing shots from his trip to Japan, featuring none other than Arjona herself. In one candid picture, they’re seen beaming with joy on a beach. How did he caption it? With a swoon-worthy “mi amor.” Be still, our beating hearts!

“Japan, you are a dream come true; you blew my mind. We’re so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor. ON THE ROAM motorcycles and mayhem. All my aloha j,” Momoa gushed. Is it just me, or did we all take a mental trip to Japan just now?

But Arjona is no stranger to the limelight herself. She’s had a versatile Hollywood career, with notable roles in Pacific Rim Uprising, Life of the Party, and a recurring part in True Detective. However, her breakthrough came when she played Dorothy Gale in the Oz book adaptation, Emerald City. Though the series was cut short after one season, she’s been on a roll, bagging several significant roles since then.

Her impressive filmography extends to Morbius, Father of the Bride, Good Omens, and Andor. And let’s not forget her part in the new comedy-action Netflix film, Hit Man, directed by Richard Linklater, where she shares screen space with Glen Powell.

One of her latest endeavors, Blink Twice, was a project directed by Zoë Kravitz, who just so happens to be Momoa’s stepdaughter from his marriage to Bonet. Talk about keeping it in the family circle!

Arjona was married to lawyer Edgardo Canales. Their relationship was quite private, and details of their split remain under wraps.

Before finding love with Arjona, Momoa briefly dated Eiza González for a few months in 2022. Clearly, the man has a type—talented and gorgeous!

Interestingly enough, both Momoa and Arjona were cast members of Netflix’s Sweet Girl, which premiered in 2021. Who knew their on-screen chemistry would spill over into real life?
